Sydney, 16 April 2019: Michael Page International (Australia) Pty Ltd (Michael Page) has announced a new service agreement with the Australian Cricketers’ Association (ACA), which will arm players with career development and advice for life off the pitch.The partnership will see Michael Page providing job readiness to ACA players by offering group-based education on resume development and interview skills, in addition developing a greater understanding on the recruiting process.This will enable opportunities for individual players to utilise Michael Page’s expertise and services when they are actively looking for employment.Michael Page and the ACA will work together to run a number of networking events where players can meet with industry professionals to explore:• the types of roles available within their organisation,• develop an understanding of their employment pathway, and • provide an opportunity to form an ongoing relationship with contacts to assist with future career prospects.Michael Page will identify a suitable point of contact in each state, who will work directly with the ACA Player Development manager to tailor support required for their players.“Transitioning into the world of work after a sports career remains a significant challenge across all sporting communities.
