Founded in Australia in 1989, Mr Fothergills Seeds has developed three powerful heritage brands, all built on a purpose of ‘Helping Everyone Grow’. DT Brown embodies a passion for homegrown food freshness and flavour, Johnsons celebrates the joy of bringing vibrant flower colours into people’s lives, and Fothergill’s supports both experienced and novice enthusiasts grow and nurture their gardening passions from seed to bloom & harvest. These brands are complemented by Darlac, the garden tools brand renowned for being "The Cutting Expert".
Mr Fothergill's Seeds Ltd works in partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and is active in the community in support of our brand purpose. Our reputation for quality, innovation and service means our brands are available in 1000's of retailers across Australia, New Zealand, North America and the UK.

Mirva has been in the business for 14 years and oversees a team of 4 enthusiastic marketers taking responsibility for our portfolio of trusted gardening brands and products. Her commitment and enthusiasm for the business is always evident as is her pursuit of quality and innovation ensuring Mr Fothergill's ongoing success.
A mainstay in the business. He is a key source of knowledge and exemplifies the business culture. Mat's intricate understanding of the seed business and it's complexity over his extensive tenure has not just helped the business enjoy it's success to date but is setting up the future. He has a very customer first mindset and is always up for the next challenge.
Since joining the business not long after completing his commerce degree, Ben has worked his way up in the business starting in the marketing team. From there he spent some time in field before moving into account management and now heads up business development across ANZ. His customer first attitude and passion for achieving mutual success with our business partners is why he leads the front line growth of the business.
With a Bachelor's degree in Horticultural Science, majoring in Marketing, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Marketing Management, Aaron brings a unique blend of expertise to their role as Managing Director at Mr Fothergill’s, a leader in the health and wellbeing sector within the horticultural industry. Specifically, home gardening products with distribution across many of the countries leading retailers.
Driven by a deep passion for seeds, plants and people, Aaron is committed to fostering a supportive and growth-focused environment for the team. His leadership philosophy emphasizes development, collaboration, and innovation, ensuring that every team member is empowered to thrive.
Under Aaron’s direction, the company has seen a significant growth, focusing on developing products that enhance health and wellbeing, with a particular emphasis on the physical and mental benefits of gardening and supporting continued consumer education.
